Returns

We pour every candle by hand, in batches of forty. Sometimes a fragrance is not what you expected. We'd rather you said so than burned a candle you don't love.

The short version

  • 30 days to change your mind on unopened candles.
  • 14 days on opened candles, if the fragrance isn't right — we call this our nose guarantee.
  • UK returns are free. International returns are at your cost.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receipt.

1 · Statutory cancellation right (UK)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, no reason required. The candle must be unused and in its original packaging. We extend this period to 30 days as a goodwill window.

2 · The nose guarantee

Fragrance is personal. If you've burned the candle for up to two hours and the scent isn't right for you, write to us within 14 days of delivery. We'll exchange it for another candle from the collection or refund the purchase price. One nose guarantee per customer per order.

3 · How to return

  • Email director@bloomiva.ltd with your order number.
  • We'll send a prepaid Royal Mail label (UK only).
  • Repackage in the original box if you can. Recycled packaging is fine.
  • Drop at any post office. Keep your receipt until the refund clears.

4 · Damaged or defective

Glassware sometimes doesn't survive the post. If your candle arrives broken, photograph the box and the candle and email director@bloomiva.ltd within 14 days. We'll send a replacement on the next pour day, no need to return the broken one.

5 · What we cannot accept back

  • Candles with more than two hours of burn time.
  • Candles purchased through retail partners (please contact them directly).
  • Gift cards.

6 · International returns

We accept returns from outside the UK within 30 days of delivery on unopened candles. Return postage is at your cost. Original shipping charges and any duties paid to the destination country are not refundable. Please mark the parcel as "RETURNED GOODS — NO COMMERCIAL VALUE" to avoid customs charges on the way back to us.

7 · Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving the return. Bank processing may add another few days. We'll email you when the refund leaves us.
